DFW Security Professionals is a community of like minded security professionals living or working in the Dallas / Fort Worth Area. Our members represent every role within the security industry from policy compliance, security penetration testing, security administration, as well as security monitoring and operations. Our mission is to help our members foster security skills and professional development through online and in person events. Each month we hold User Group Meetings and Lunches in the Dallas area. Join us every third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM for pizza and soft drinks. Presentation begins at 7:00 PM. Blaise Brignac will be delivering a presentation entitled "Neutralizing Ettercap in Cisco Networks." Blaise will be discussing the 4 main methods of protocol abuse that the Ettercap program has built in to create a MitM attack, how the protocols work under normal & malicious operation, and the counter measures to stop them.
